Dr. Ashok Balaraman, a licensed pharmacist, brings a distinguished academic background, holding qualifications in Pharmacy, and in Human Resources Management. His expertise extends to the realm of Biomedical Sciences, further bolstered by a post-doctorate from Charles Sturt University, Australia.

Demonstrating a strong commitment to academic and research excellence, Dr. Ashok has garnered various prestigious research fellowships, including scholarships for postgraduate studies awarded by the Ministry of Human Resource Development and the University Grants Commission in India. His international recognition includes the Australian Endeavor Research Award from the Ministry of Tertiary Education in Australia and India-ASEAN collaboration research grants, highlighting his dedication to global research collaborations.

As a prolific researcher and academician, Dr. Ashok has significantly contributed to the scientific community, publishing over 50 research articles and book chapters in esteemed, peer-reviewed, and Scopus-indexed journals.

Currently, Dr. Ashok holds a pivotal role as the Director of the Research Management Unit at the University of Cyberjaya, Malaysia. He has previously served as Programme Manager for the B Pharmacy, La Trobe Programme (Australia), the Head of Postgraduate Studies & Research and Development at Asia Metropolitan University, Malaysia, and the Head of Praxis, Industry, and Community Management at UCSI University, Malaysia.

His core areas of focus include research and publication, funding and grants, training and workshops, partnership, and commercialization. With his extensive experience and visionary approach, Dr. Ashok continues to drive innovation and excellence in the healthcare sectors, making a profound impact on both academia and industry.
